The only thing I’m iffy on is how Germany just sprouted out of the ground while Prussia was still a nation. The sad thing is if Himaruya doesn’t address it in a strip, I’m clueless and Wikipedia doesn’t help much. Start mentioning names and my ADD kicks in.
I guess it’s a fan trope by now that France is sex on legs and Spain is a pedo. It bothers me because they’re both so much more than that. I’ve RP’d Spain and the first thing out of puppets’ mouths is that Spain will molest chibi!Romano. *eye roll* I was tickled pink when India debuted last year. I hope we see more of him this year. I would die if Scotland came out now that it wants to break away from Great Britain. I want to see how Himaruya would handle that.
I wanted him to finish Heta Live, but he got sick and then his sister kidnapped him and now he’s on hiatus. He deserves a rest, but I want to see Prussia being a total dork.

France must’ve made empty promises and Italy fell for them. Poor thing. But instead of being destroyed by fire, I would’ve said that all the workers went on strike.

Oh man the Germany origins stories. <3 One of my favorite topics of Hetalia ambiguity. I almost don’t want Himaruya to touch that, as psyched as I was last year when he drew Germany in a throne and it looked for a second like he’d answer the question of HRE —> Germany or HRE = Germany once and for all. OH HELLO PEDO!SPAIN / OTHER HUGE FANDOM PET PEEVE. Just… no. Any interpretation of Spain as a pedophile has really missed his character, in my eyes. There was that one deleted strip, but hey, Himaruya deleted it and never went near it again. He’s allowed to make mistakes too.

xD I am so glad you loved that as much as I did! Absolutely killed me. The Italians killed me too. LOUD NOISES ARE VERY MUCH A PART OF THE CULTURE. That’s another beautiful part of Hetalia - there’s a whole pre-established genre of European humor to enjoy on top of all of this. Hell is going to be people laughing at these jokes then.
